Westside Preventive Medicine was founded in 2004 by Gregory Cohen, MD, MPH, FACC.
Dr. Cohen is recognized as one of the leaders in internal medicine, cardiology, and preventive care in the Los Angeles area. He is well regarded for his preventive approach to healthcare, which emphasizes keeping patients healthy and active, while minimizing unnecessary medications, surgeries and procedures.
Dr. Cohen earned a Bachelor of Science in
Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
He earned his Medical Degree from Washington University, and
did his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of
Southern California (USC).
He received a Master's of
Public Health from UCLA, and became an Assistant Professor of Medicine
at both the University of California, Los Angeles and the
University of Southern California.
Dr. Cohen is a Fellow with the
American College of Cardiology, and is Certified by the American Board
of Internal Medicine.
Unlike many other practices that have thousands of patients, we limit the number of patients we accept in order to give each person the time and individual attention they deserve.
So instead of long waits and quick visits, patients at Westside Preventive Care experience “Executive Level” service, where you get in at your appointment time, and you spend as much time with the physician as necessary.
